The Thames Valley Section is pleased to offer an annual scholarship in support of the future.

Education is Important

to Your Future and to Ours!

The Thames Valley Section is offering the five hundred dollar Louis I. Korn scholarship.  Mr. Korn was elected a Fellow of the ASQ after serving 14 years as a Senior Member and one of the founding members of our Section.

The requirements for the scholarship are that an applicant be a high school senior or a college freshman seeking a degree at an accredited college or university.  A member of the Thames Valley Section must sponsor each applicant.

We will need from you:

    A completed application legibly printed or typed.

    A personal statement of education and career goals.

    A current high school or college transcripts

    A written essay describing how quality fits with applicant's lifestyle, career, or  philosophies.

A scholarship committee will review all applications.  Points will be awarded based on academic achievements, extracurricular activities and the quality of the original essay.
